Agave Online Free Case Lookup
Pima County offers free case searches through Agave Online. This portal lets you search Superior Court records by party name or case number. Enter the last name in the required field. First name is optional but helps narrow results. Criminal cases have a CR prefix in their case numbers. After January 1 2009, criminal cases require a three-digit defendant number such as CR20191234-001 when you search for specific case files in Pima County. The system searches all case types at once so you may see civil or family cases in your results alongside criminal cases. Use the case number prefix to filter results by type when searching in Pima County. The portal works best on desktop computers but also functions on phones and tablets with internet access.
Viewing case information is free on Agave Online. You can see case numbers, filing dates, party names, case status, and docket entries. However, you cannot download or print actual court documents through this free portal. Copies of documents require payment through other channels. Use the eAccess system for document downloads or submit a records request to the Legal Records office for certified copies in Pima County. Some records may be sealed or restricted from public view per court order. If you cannot find a case you believe exists, contact the Legal Records office for help. They can check sealed records and explain access restrictions.
