Mohave County Criminal Court Records
Mohave County Clerk of Superior Court maintains criminal court records at three courthouse locations. These serve different parts of the county. The public may obtain copies of criminal, civil, domestic relations, probate, and marriage abstracts from any of the three offices. You can request records through email using the Records Request Form. Online case searches work through the eAccess portal. In-person visits are allowed too. Any courthouse accepts walk-in requests during regular business hours. Staff can help you inspect records and request copies of documents you need for your legal matter or personal use.

The main office is in Kingman at 415 East Spring Street Kingman AZ 86401. Mail requests to PO Box 7000 Kingman AZ 86402. Call 928-753-0713 for general information. Fax is 928-718-4930. Email goes to clerkofcourt@mohavecourts.com. Hours are Monday through Friday from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon. The Kingman office handles all three courthouse locations. Staff there can answer questions about records from any part of the county in Mohave County.

Lake Havasu City office is at 2001 College Drive. Call 928-453-0701. Hours are Monday through Friday from half past eight to noon and half past one to half past four. The office closes for lunch. Bullhead City office is at 2225 Trane Road. Call 928-758-0730. Hours are Monday through Friday from half past eight to noon and half past one to half past four. All three locations provide access to the same court records. You can visit any location that is most convenient for you in Mohave County.
How to Request Criminal Records
Email requests can be submitted using the Records Request Form. Send it to clerkofcourt@mohavecourts.com. Include all case information and contact details. Staff will process your request. They will provide fee information by email or phone. Online case searches are available through Arizona Courts Public Access for free case lookups in Mohave County.

Staff will help you complete request forms. They will locate case files for you. Payment can be made at the counter when you pick up copies. Bring cash, check, or money order. Some locations accept credit cards too in Mohave County.
Mail requests should be sent to PO Box 7000 Kingman AZ 86402-7000 with attention to Research Clerk. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for mailed copies. Allow five to seven business days for processing. Include all case information. Party names help staff search. Case numbers speed up the process. If you do not have a case number, provide approximate dates and party names. Staff can search by name but it takes longer in Mohave County.
Phone requests can be made by calling 928-753-0713 extension 4089. Have case and party information ready. Staff can provide fee estimates over the phone. They can answer questions about record availability too.
Fax requests are accepted. Use the Records Request Form. Send it to 928-718-4930. A research clerk will contact you within three business days. They will provide payment information. Processing begins after payment is received in Mohave County.
Mohave County Record Fees
Plain copies cost 50 cents per page. Certified copies cost 30 dollars per document. The fee schedule was updated December 28 2024. This followed Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Order 2024-210. Always verify current fees with the Clerk's office. Fees change periodically. If you overpay they may not refund the difference. If you underpay your request will be delayed until you send more money in Mohave County.
Payment methods include cash, checks, money orders, and credit or debit cards. Different payment methods may be accepted at different locations. Ask about payment options when you submit your request. Some methods have processing fees. Credit cards usually have a small convenience fee added to the total in Mohave County.
Justice Courts
Mohave County has multiple Justice Courts. Different precincts serve different areas. Kingman and Cerbat Precinct is at 928-753-0710. Lake Havasu Precinct serves the Lake Havasu City area. Bullhead City Precinct handles cases in Bullhead City. North Canyon Precinct serves Colorado City and the Strip area. Each Justice Court handles misdemeanor cases, traffic violations, and small claims for their geographic area. DUI charges at the misdemeanor level go to Justice Court. Speeding tickets are filed there too in Mohave County.

Superior Court handles only felony criminal cases. Misdemeanors and traffic violations go to Justice Courts or Municipal Courts. They do NOT go to Superior Court. If you need misdemeanor records, contact the Justice Court or Municipal Court. Superior Court records are for felony cases only in Mohave County.
Major City in Mohave County
Lake Havasu City is the only city in Mohave County with population over 50,000. Felony cases from Lake Havasu City are filed at Mohave County Superior Court.
